Use this after a ticket that took real work to solve. The fix usually lives in one agent's head or buried in a thread, and the next customer with the same problem gets the same long wait.
Opening this in Claude or ChatGPT sends the prompt with its {{PLACEHOLDERS}} still in it. Replace them with your own details before you send, or copy the prompt and fill them in first.
Here is a support thread that ended with the problem solved:

Write a help article.
- TITLE: the problem as the customer would search for it, not the internal name for the fix.
- WHO THIS IS FOR: one sentence on the symptom they will be seeing.
- THE FIX: numbered steps, one action each, naming the exact screen, button or setting mentioned in the thread.
- IF THAT DID NOT WORK: what to check next, or when to contact support.
Rules:
- Use only what the thread shows actually worked. Leave out the attempts that failed, unless one is a common mistake worth warning about.
- Remove the customer's name, account details and anything else specific to them.
- If a step in the thread is unclear or skipped, do not invent it. List it under QUESTIONS FOR THE AGENT at the end.End of prompt: Turn a resolved ticket into a help article
