Critique landing page copy as the buyer, not the marketer
Reads your page as a sceptical buyer with limited time and reports where they would stop reading and why.
Rewrites copy for a named audience and shows you what it cut, so you can tell whether it lost meaning or only lost padding.
Works with Claude, ChatGPT, GeminiUpdated 2026-09-27
Use this on a paragraph that is technically accurate and still hard to read. Writing for "everyone" is what made it vague, so this asks for one reader and shows its working.
Opening this in Claude or ChatGPT sends the prompt with its {{PLACEHOLDERS}} still in it. Replace them with your own details before you send, or copy the prompt and fill them in first.
Here is a paragraph:
<paragraph>
{{PARAGRAPH}}
</paragraph>
The reader:
{{READER}}
Rewrite it for that reader. Then show your working.
The rewrite:
- Same meaning. If you cannot keep a claim without making it vague, keep the claim and flag it below instead of softening it.
- Plain words where a plain word exists. Keep the technical term if the reader uses that term at work.
- No more than two sentences longer than the original.
Then, under the rewrite:
- CUT: what you removed, and whether each cut was padding or meaning. Be honest when it was meaning.
- STILL UNCLEAR: anything the original left ambiguous that you had to guess at. Ask me the question rather than choosing for me.
Do not open with "In today's fast-paced world" or any variation of it.End of prompt: Rewrite a paragraph for one specific reader
