Turn a discovery call into a follow-up email they reply to
Writes the follow-up from what the prospect actually said, in their words, and flags anything you failed to ask.
Fills the CRM fields you actually use from a call recording, and leaves a field blank rather than guessing at it.
Works with Claude, ChatGPT, GeminiUpdated 2026-09-27
Use this straight after a call, while the transcript is to hand. It writes the fields you name and nothing else, so the notes read the same whoever took the call, and a blank field means the question genuinely did not come up.
Opening this in Claude or ChatGPT sends the prompt with its {{PLACEHOLDERS}} still in it. Replace them with your own details before you send, or copy the prompt and fill them in first.
Here is a transcript of a sales call:
<transcript>
{{TRANSCRIPT}}
</transcript>
Fill in exactly these fields:
{{FIELDS}}
Rules:
- One or two sentences per field. No preamble.
- Use the customer's own words for anything about their problem, their timeline or their budget. Quote them where the wording matters.
- If the call did not cover a field, write "not discussed". Never infer it from what is usual for this kind of company.
- Keep your own opinion out of it. "Sounded keen" is not a note; "said they want to decide before the quarter ends" is.
After the fields, list any commitment made on our side, with who made it and by when. If nobody committed to anything, say so plainly.End of prompt: Turn a call transcript into clean CRM notes
Writes the follow-up from what the prospect actually said, in their words, and flags anything you failed to ask.
Converts a raw transcript into the three things anyone actually needs afterwards: what was decided, who owns it, and by when.
